Gingrich was in the news recently with his remarks about the conservative party.  During his speech, he stated that, "In a fundamental way, the conservative movement has to declare itself independent from the Republican Party."  He did point out that he doesn't think the conservative movement should split into a third party however.  Regardless, Gingrich gave all his support to Republican front runner John McCain.  This comes five days after saying that he would not be endorsing McCain.
