Gingrich

Recently, Gingrich has been showing his support for a bill to mandate doctors to use electronic prescriptions instead of paper ones which is part of Kerry's health plan as well. He also has been trying to urge the federal government to put more money towards alzheimers research. Gingrich believes that we should spend more money on research of the disease than the health care for the disease to possibly be able to stop the problem.

Could Gingrich be considering making his bid for presidency soon?  Well, even if he is not, he has been very busy lately.  His group, American Solution for Winning the Future, is opening a new office in the Silicon Valley.  The organization, which is nonpartisan, is said to be revolved around three goals which are, "To defend America and our allies abroad and defeat our enemies, to strengthen and revitalize America's core values, and to move the government into the 21st Century."  Besides the opening of his office, Gingrich also recently was in Philadelphia talking about the environment.

With his recent stand on the Florida and Michigan primaries, and being well traveled throughout the United States in recent weeks, it will be interesting to see if an announcement comes soon.
